Welcome to TapConnect ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TapConnect platform, including our website, mobile applications, NFC cards, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, activating an NFC card, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
TapConnect is operated by TapConnect Technologies, a company registered in Cebu City, Philippines.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our Service. By using TapConnect, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Account Registration: To use certain features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate • Keep your password secure and confidential • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. TapConnect will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.
You agree not to use TapConnect to: • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights • Upload, post, or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation • Engage in spamming, phishing, or other deceptive practices • Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts • Use automated systems or bots to access the Service without permission • Collect or harvest user data without consent • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
Pricing Options: • One-time payment: ₱899 for lifetime premium access • Monthly subscription: ₱49 per month
Premium Features Include: • Custom username/URL (e.g., tapconnect.ph/yourname) • Unlimited social and custom links • Analytics dashboard with detailed insights • Priority customer support • No TapConnect watermark • Physical NFC card included (one-time payment only)
Payment Terms: • All payments are processed securely through PayMongo • Prices are in Philippine Pesos (PHP) unless otherwise stated • One-time payments are non-recurring and provide lifetime access • Monthly subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled
Refund Policy: • One-time payments: Refunds may be requested within 7 days of purchase if the NFC card has not been activated • Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months; you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges • Physical cards that have been shipped are non-refundable
Card Activation: • Each NFC card comes with a unique activation code • Activation codes are single-use and cannot be transferred • Once activated, the card is permanently linked to your account
Card Usage: • NFC cards remain the property of TapConnect until fully paid • Cards are for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed • Do not attempt to modify, clone, or tamper with NFC cards • Lost or damaged cards may be replaced for an additional fee
Card Replacement: • Report lost or stolen cards immediately to support@tapconnect.ph • Replacement cards will be linked to your existing profile • Replacement fees may apply depending on circumstances
TapConnect Property: The TapConnect name, logo, website design, software, and all related intellectual property are owned by TapConnect Technologies. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you upload to your profile (photos, bio, links). By uploading content, you grant TapConnect a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
User Content Guidelines: • You must have the right to share any content you upload • Profile photos must be appropriate and professional • You are solely responsible for the content on your profile
TapConnect integrates with third-party services to provide our features:
Cloudinary: Used for image storage and optimization. Your profile photos are stored securely on Cloudinary's servers.
DeepSeek AI: Powers our AI bio generation feature. When you use this feature, your profile information is processed by DeepSeek to generate personalized content.
PayMongo: Handles payment processing. Your payment information is processed securely by PayMongo and is subject to their terms of service.
Vercel: Hosts our web application. Your usage data may be processed through Vercel's infrastructure.
We are not responsible for the practices or policies of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAPCONNECT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages • Loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account • Damages resulting from third-party services or content • Any amount exceeding the fees paid by you to TapConnect in the 12 months preceding the claim
This limitation of liability applies regardless of the theory of liability and even if TapConnect has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Termination by You: You may delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon deletion: • Your profile will be immediately deactivated • Your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion • Any unused premium subscription time will not be refunded
Termination by Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you: • Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities • Fail to pay applicable fees • Have been inactive for an extended period
We will provide reasonable notice before termination unless immediate action is required for security or legal reasons.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Cebu City, Philippines.
You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Cebu City, Philippines for the purpose of litigating any such disputes.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors.
When we make material changes: • We will notify you via email or through the Service • The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date • Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.
